Alumnus George Eid Eid in JLSS

Alumnus George Eid Eid visited our school from Sunday 22 until Friday 24 April 2012. The purpose of his visit was to assist with activities in the boarding department. He organized the clean-up and preparation of the football field which needed a lot of work. He was assisted by some of our vocational students who helped him remove overgrown wild plants and thorns, paint the goals, and mark the football field. The opening of the football field was on Thursday afternoon when a football game was played between the vocational and academic teams of boarding students. The academic team won the game. George also organized a social evening in which he held a general knowledge competition.

George also visited JLSS from Sunday June 3 until Friday June 8, 2012. He assisted in the boarding department helping students with their studies and organizing a general knowledge contest. He worked hard removing weeds from the football field and the bicycle track, and he also lead the chapel service on Thursday evening.
