Schneller Bells Toll for Peace and Reconciliation

A Lebanese society named "You are my Brother" called for all churches in Lebanon to ring their bells, and for all mosques to recite the Call to Prayer (Athan), on Thursday 10 May 2007 at 12.00 PM, in support of peace and reconciliation in Lebanon, and as a united stand against violence and war. Schneller supported this initiative and the bells of our St. Michael's Church rang for five minutes joining other churches and mosques in a call for peace and reconciliation, and in total rejection of violence and war. Trainers of our vocational school had just finished servicing our church bells, and it was the first time for many months that our four bells rang together, beautiful echoing through the whole region, in solidarity with all peace loving people.
