Vocational training in J.L.S.S. has four branches:

Carpentry begins with a two-year course (B.P.) which starts at grade 7 or higher, followed by a three year program for the Dual System Certificate.
General Mechanics begins with a two-year course (B.P.) which starts at grade 7 or higher, followed by a three year program for the Dual System Certificate.
Car Mechanics begins with a two-years course (B.P.) which starts at grade 7 or higher, followed by a three year program for the Dual System Certificate.
Vocational training at J.L.S.S. offers courses in pneumatics and hydraulics for students in General Mechanics and Car Mechanics.
Theoretical studies in the Vocational Department go side by side with practical training.
School dropouts can be reintegrated into vocational training through the C.A.P. program which can start after grade 5 or 6. At the end of this program students sit for an official exam. If they pass they can register the following year in the B.P. program.
All trainers in the four branches are also responsible for doing repair work and renovation inside the school campus. In addition, they take projects outside the school that benefit our school financially.
Our trainers do their best to help our students and promote our school.
We also follow up our students after they graduate. All employees of the Vocational Department do their best to  help students find jobs in factories and workshops all over Lebanon.
The most important development in the vocational department was the incorporation of the Dual System (D.S.) in our program.  This was possible through our cooperation with the GIZ team when they launched the program in Lebanon. D.S. courses are three-year courses that start at Grade 9.
We also have Sewing and Fashion Design, Hair-dressing & Cosmetics in the B.P. program.
